You're correct. That helps for DisplayFusion commands. I'll twiddle around.
I attached the pic of what it looks like.

I want the physical monitors to be renumbered without having to physically move my monitors around.

Right now, I want Win + Left to go from screen 3 to screen 5 directly. Right now it jumps up to Screen 2 before going to Screen 5.
For example my 3 screen setup is No3 - No1 - No2 and if I use the Winkey + arrows then it will scroll through the screens in that order (to the right).

An example of yours assuming you want the main screen on the bottom row and in the middle would be

No4 - No5 - No6
No3 - No1 - No2

It should now move through the screens to the right then up to the second or upper row but you can drag them around to suit your needs in any order and the scroll momentum will always be (or should always be) 1 to 6

Does your solution require me to physically move my monitors around?

So it seems the monitor numbers are actually assigned by physical port to the GPU and can't be changed?
I have a vertical monitor setup with 6. So I prefer it to cycle through my horizontal ones first before snapping to the second level. Right now, it alternates between the vertical and horizontal. It's annoying.
