We've actually made some changes to the TitleBar Buttons code that might help your situation without having to completely disable the TitleBar Buttons while those apps are running.

Could you install 3.4.0 Beta 20 and then try deleting any Compatibility rules you've created for VLC and iSpy, and create new ones just to disable the TitleBar Buttons for those applications?

There were some functions of the TitleBar Buttons code that were still touching the windows even if they had the buttons disabled via Compatibility, but we've updated it so that no part of the TitleBar Buttons code will attempt to communicate with a window that has them disabled via the Compatibility rules.

Please remember: This also affected my iSpy software. It didn't affect the iSpy window, but did affect the streaming video screen within the iSpy window.

If you are not familiar with iSpy it's a video surveillance software program for security cameras.

I'll look into it some more and we'll see what we can come up with.

In the meantime, you could create a Compatibility rule for VLC enabling the "Pause TitleBar Buttons while this application is running". It's not a great solution, but might work for you while we figure out the root cause.

Sounds like the problem your having is not the same as the one I'm experiencing. I have had no problems with my browser (Fire Fox), Strictly Vlc & iSpy. However I haven't tried anything else, and yes all is fine if I exit DF.

Which sucks cause I really like the DF software with the 3 monitors, really makes desktop organization a snap. (grin)

Im using firefox and when i move the browser video to my 2nd screen and have a browser open on my 1st screen, the video on my 2nd screen bugs out. It continues to play but i cant press, play pause stop or whatever. only if i move it over to screen 1 but it does not work all the time. sometimes it also happens the other way around.
So whenever i open a 2nd browser and move it to either screen it sometimes bugs out. Now im not sure if its DF but i dont know what else it could be.

I use iSpy for my security cameras and VLC for video playback etc. Regardless of either or both being loaded with DS they eventually crash.

For about 10 min or so its fine then VLC will become unstable by first becoming unresponsive to forward, reverse, pause commands then stop. If I press play asci display shows up then has to be restarted. If I don't use any commands its fine till I do.

After about 10min or so iSpy will become unstable and start to ghost the individual camera video images and the title bar buttons etc will start to break up and disappear unless I run the curser over it.

If I disable DS all is well.

All drivers and software are up to date. Running 3 monitors on ATI 5770. Have tried with and without Catalyst with no diff as well. Monitor frequency is fine.

I've been tinkering with this problem for about 2-3 months now and figure I've tried most everything. Any suggestions would be really welcome.
