Maybe with a very complex Scripted Function, but that's not something we could really whip together on the fly.

I will put this on our feature request list, and if we're able to implement something like it in a future version, we'll definitely let you know.

I was wondering if it's possible to use triggers in this way:

Everytime a new program is opened, put it in the next available monitor.
Once there are more than X programs open, switch to a different monitor profile that supports X programs.

It would be really useful as this is one of the main things I miss from i3-gaps.
