This issue should be fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. You make need to delete and recreate your monitor profiles after updating. Please let me know if you still run into any trouble after updating.

Unplugging any external display also breaks the functionality.

Example exception:

An error has occurred while applying your new Monitor configuration.
Please check your settings and try again.
Error: Failed to call SetDisplayConfig. [HR: 87]
[System.Exception]

Like others on this site I had no issues with this with version 9.6 but since 9.7 and the Betas I keep getting the following error:

DisplayFusion 9.6.1 Error: Failed to call SetDisplayConfig. [HR: 31] [System.Exception]

Is there a fix for this. I have just updated to Beta 4 but am getting the same issues, given that the only reason I use DisplayFusion is to be able to switch between monitor profiles this is a bit frustrating. ]]>
