DisplayFusion isn't currently able to detect when programs are launched from the Start8 menu, so it doesn't know when it needs to move them to a specific monitor. However, as a workaround, you can setup a Window Location rule in the DisplayFusion Settings to have all new windows be moved to the monitor that the mouse cursor is currently on.

I've attached a screenshot of how to set that rule up.

My set up

Win8 x64 + Start8 menu + Dexpot

I have "Move child windows to the same monitor" ticked.

When I press "Windows" button the Start8 menu is presented at the correct monitor. Yet the applications started from there always go to the main monitor.

That requires me to drag them every time to their correct place.

p.s. Thank you for fixing Alt-Tab to show only the current monitor applications - it is fantastic! ]]>
