To be honest, they appear to be different colors even, although again, when I go to settings and apply the setting again, (without touching any option inside the panel mind you), they both go from, for example, light yellow and white, to dark blue. For me, the Aero Colour changes as soon as the wallpaper changes, without needing to go in and apply the settings.

Could you do the following to help troubleshoot further?
  • Enable debug logging on the Troubleshooting tab (set it to Logging: Important Only) and click Apply
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Let the wallpaper change a few times, and don't manually apply the settings (please note the time so I'll know where to look in the log file)
  • Attach the %appdata%\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusion.log file to this topic (can be found by clicking the 'Open Log' button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after attaching the log

You should be able to recreate my issue by:

* Setting a rotation of backgrounds, letting the time to rotate to something low to make it easier.
* Go to Settings of Display Fusion and ensure that "Change the Aero color based on the current background image" is selected
* When the background changes, you should right click on the Display Fusion taskbar and click Settings.
* Since the Aero Color settings is on this page, just press okay again.

* You should notice that the taskbar changes colors, to match the background.

I also have a folder of a bunch of wallpapers to cycle through every hour.

The Aero Colour Setting does NOT change with the background, I need to press OKAY or APPLY on the Options tab in order to have the colours updated.

The color should refresh on wallpaper change. ]]>
