This issue began happening for me a couple of weeks ago. I have two Lenovo W520 laptops that I use for different purposes. The message about dragging to another monitor appears on the one running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (6.1.7601), but it does not happen on the one running Windows 7 Professional.

Other than the OS, they are basically the same, except that the one running Win Pro has more memory, a slightly faster CPU, and more disk storage. One other difference is that the laptop running Win Pro has the NVIDIA Quadro 2000M graphics card, while the one where the message appears has the NVIDIA Quadro 1000M card.

Both closing DisplayFusion and rebooting the system resolve the issue for a while, but eventually the message comes back.

I have DisplayFusion Pro 9.7.1 (production version, not beta).

I'm using two Asus PB287-Q monitors, and normally run with the laptop itself closed.

The Window Management settings are attached below.
One setting that seems to be related is Window Management >> Show monitor selector while dragging. I do NOT see the Drag to another... message after unchecking this setting however the window still maximizes if I don't hold down the shift key.
