Windows 8 comes with the .NET Framework 4, but since you upgraded from Windows 7, it's probably also got .NET 3.5 installed. This shouldn't be an issue, but you can try repairing the .NET Framework using the instructions in the article below (it's for Vista, but should work in Win 7 and 8 as well).

Thank you Keith. My installation is an upgrade of Windows 7 Professional. I may have run into .NET issues during the upgrade. Are you aware of any fixes to .NET installation that would help. Each time I try to start DisplayFusion 4.2, either from the System Tray or the Start Menu I get this "DisplayFusionSettings.exe - Configuration parser error.

I looked at the Windows Logs (Application) and saw the following, shown with the "Information Level":

After a few error messages (the same as the one above) DisplayFusion does open. If I click Apply or OK I get the error message again, but the changes are made.
