Hey Thomas, I hate to admit it here, but I solved it for my particular context by no longer using Displayfusion. The free Fancy Zones in Microsof'ts Power Toys does everything I need and I found it much easier to implement than DisplayFusion. That said my needs are very particular. I don't/didn't need/use 99% of Display Fusion's other features. For many people its the better choice. But if all you want is to be able to have preset window locations across multiple monitors that you can move your windows around with a hotkey, all while maintaining just one taskbar across whichever screen you want, Fancy Zones works great in both Windows 10 and 11.

Thank you so very much Keith! That did it. I spent hours going through every settings option but didn't think to look at these little checkboxes on the bottom of the Monitor Configuraiton screen. Frankly, as a 38 year tech vetran, I found the entire, very unique, Display Fusion multi screen setup and settings interface very confusing for a very long time. Still haven't figured out what monitor profiles are or why I would need them. Thus, to solve the problem I didn't have to resave a monitor profile becuase so far I have none. Just so happy to have three virtual screens with one large task bar (as I had assumed from the first of may probably 10 hours with this so far) work how I had assumed it should.
Many thanks again. This passed my last hurdle before buying.
Cheers,
Dale

Hello, I'm new here. Evaluating Displayfusion and hope to buy it. However, I have divided my Dell 34" (3440x1440) into three screens. All I want is for the taskbar to be a normal taskbar across the bottom of all three of the divisions. I don't want a taskbar on each screen. When I try to split the screen 3 ways yousing the preset screen, the taskbar narrows to just one of the three. Which is horrible. I have far more icons on the taskbar than can fit in 1/3rd the size.

I tried creating a separate virtual screen' 3440 by 40 across the bottom, but when I do that I can't open the system tray on the right. When I do, the system tray pops up at the top of one of the windows. I"ve tried making a bottom windoww 3440 x 200 to give the system tray room to open and then have the other three windows overlap the bottom virtual window just so that they touch but don't hide the taskbar. This doesn't work either.

I would think that as a base behaviour I could have three virtual windows on a wide screen monitor and still have a fuctioning task bar along the bottom.

Help!
