We haven't done the "fake" maximized state with splitting since 7.1 because it was causing too many issues with other applications. If we're able to add it back in as an option in a future version, I'll definitely let you know.

It appears that it won't allow the width to be less than 1244 when it's not in 'maximized' state.

100% width for the program is just 1244.

I tried reverting displayfusion to 7.1.

See the attachment for the result.

Displayfusion 7.1 would put the window to the maximized state, so it's working as intended.

But I'll lose all the cool new features since 7.1 so it's not the best idea.

Is there a way to revert to this behavior without losing all the new features and fixes?

Could you try this?
  • On the Settings > Functions tab, add a Custom Function like the attached screenshot and give it a key combination.
  • Try running that function on the window when your mouse is somewhere over that top split.

I'm trying to use Path of building ( https://github.com/Openarl/PathOfBuilding ) vertically
It's a opensource offline build calculator for the game Path of Exile

I bought my copy of displayfusion off Steam

But the screen would look like the attachment
which is, of course, very inconvenient for me.

Weirdly, this does not happen with older version ( 7 or something when I had it on trial ).

Is there a way to fix this on my part?
