This is just the way VirtualBox handles it's input, unfortunately. I personally use the capturing method in VMware, and it works well for me.

Probably a minor problem, but that doesn't make it less annoying.

If you're familiar with VirtualBox, you know that you can control (most) hosts with direct input (mouse+keyboard). That basically means that if you hover your mouse over the host's window, you'll control it. You don't have to capture the mouse etc in order to do stuff.

However, when using this feature, window management doesn't work. I'm using the shortcut alt+ctrl+right/left arrow to move my window to the upper right/left corner and giving it 50% width and 100% height, in order to have 2 windows up at the same time, with the exact same size. When I do this while using direct input everything just get sent to the host as long as I have that window selected. It doesn't matter whether I have my mouse over it or not.

If I disable direct input and use the capturing feature instead, everything works.

I'm not sure if this is simply the way stuff work, and has to work, or if it's a bug from either program - though, it's probably the first.

Though I thought I'd just make you aware of it never the less, and check if there's a possible work-around for this, other than disabling/enabling direct input everytime I want to manage the window.

Ye, I'm lazy alright, why do you think I'm using this app in the first place :3
