DisplayFusion doesn't try to set a monitor profile when a monitor is connected or disconnected, we leave that to Windows, as it's supposed to remember the monitor configurations based on which monitors are connected.

You could maybe work around this in DisplayFusion though, like this:

When you disconnect the monitors, save whatever layout Windows sets it to as a new monitor profile (call it something like "Temp Monitor Profile").

Create a new Trigger rule with the "Monitor Profile Changed" event, and choose the "Temp Monitor Profile" in the match conditions. Then click Add > Run Function > "Load Monitor Profile: Profile you want to load".

What that should do is when you disconnect the monitor, it will detect whatever layout Windows sets, then it will load the monitor profile you selected in the Actions pane of the Trigger rule.

Hope that helps!

I have an unconventional setup with a 1x3 monitor array, and I have one of the 3 monitors setup with hdmi switches so I can switch it's input between my pc and external sources like a SNES and a Chromecast.
I have two profiles saved for when all 4 monitors are displaying my desktop, and for the 3 remaining monitors when I switch the input. However I'm having trouble getting DisplayFusion to properly switch between these profiles as it tries to do it's own reconfiguring once it detects a monitor was disconnected. Any fix or advice to get this working?
