Found a solution that works for me,

I have changed my workflow using Skype from "Present Desktop" to "Present Program". This actually works surprisingly well. A co-worker and I tested out several different scenarios and Skype seems to scale what it shows viewers based on how the presenter has the program scaled. So if I have a program pinned to half of my 3840x1200 screen, Skype displays it to the viewer as 1920x1200. However, if I open a second program (Skype shows you all running programs and allows you to select one or more to display) and pin it to the other half of my monitor it will show the user a 3840x1200 view containing both programs. If you minimize either window it goes back to a 1920x1200 view for the user. This works very well for my needs as my desktop is not shown to the viewer which was the reason I wanted the second virtual monitor window. It only shows the programs selected and in view. You can stack another program on top, such as notepad or calculator and as long as it was not a selected program it will not show on the viewers screen. A word of warning though, Skype is not able to present a few programs these include the command prompt, Windows explorer, and a few others.

I hope this helps anyone else that may have a similar issue.

I bought a new 43" ultra-wide and have been using DisplayFusion to manage windows with great success. However, when I attempt to share my desktop with someone on Skype it only ever gives me the option to share my primary monitor. This includes the entire resolution and does not give the option to just present one of my splits. I have always used multiple monitors and present one monitor while I work and get ready on the other. I need this same functionality and was hoping DisplayFusion was capable of this. If not please recommend something that can do this.
