Here are the steps:
  • Setup your Wallpaper and save it as a Wallpaper Profile
  • Open the Monitor Configuration window, and click Save Profile to save it as a new Monitor Profile
  • Click the Manage Monitor Profiles button
  • Select the Monitor Profile in the list, then use the Wallpaper Profile button to assign the Wallpaper Profile to the Monitor Profile
  • When DisplayFusion detects the layout saved in the Monitor Profile, it will automatically load its assigned Wallpaper Profile :)

I use my laptop on it's own (1600x1050 pixels) when I'm home, travelling or in meetings and when I'm at work I have a three monitor setup (3 x 1920x1080) connected to a docking station. When at work the internal laptop screen isn't in use. Is it possible to have displayfusion change background profile automatically based on hardware change, so I don't have to set it manually each time I connect/disconnect the pc to/from the docking station?
