First off thanks again. As someone in a tech support-adjacent field I cringe at the thought of asking a follow up request to free work.

The first part of the scripts do what I want, expand the window. After that though, it cycles through my monitor splits which is not needed, I just want it to jump back to the original position.

I have attached a video of the scripts in action.

Time Stamps:
00:01 - a peek at my triple panel monitor config.
00:10 - cycling through the scroll left-to-right script.
Note - ultimately it stays on maximized, I then return it to a smaller window manually.
00:35 - repeating the same proces for the right-to-left script
00:48 - My desired function - Left panel expands to half screen by script (so far so good), but then resizing back to the left panel original position, which I have to do manually.

The first part could be done with a pair of scripted functions. Unfortunately it's not possible to map it to the mouse scroll left/right though. Would you still like a sample scripted function that can do this?

If so, please attach a copy of your DisplayFusion troubleshooting info (see below) and we'll write one up when we have some time.

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab

Click the "Export Info to File" button

Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

I have a widescreen with a monitor split set up like pillar boxes - a big central area and a thinner side area on each flank.

Sometimes a browser window on one of these flanks is too thin and I need to expand it to 50% screen size, basically like hitting win key + left arrow to snap it to the left half of the screen.

Is it possible to:
1) Make this a toggle, e.g. hotkey that pressed once brings to 50% screen-left, pressed again resumes to original position?

2) Map this to the Mouse Scroll button right/left clicks? What I mean by this is my house scroll wheel has the click down, but also the click left and click right features that I don't use for anything.

Ideally when I'm using the left pillar window I'd click right to expand it and left to return to original, and vice versa on the right.
