Quote:
Do you have Chrome pinned to the taskbar on the DisplayFusion taskbar, or only on the Windows taskbar?

Window Location doesn't have any way to detect which profile Chrome is using, as after it's launched, the process doesn't keep the command line parameters. However, with the new DisplayFusion scripted functions, it would be possible to launch Chrome with a command line parameter and then move it to a specific location. If you let me know the exact command line, and the location you want it to go to, I can whip up a scripted function that will do that

Chrome is currently PINNED to the windows taskbar... and it's pinned with the proper profile ICON. Once I move it over to the secondary monitor, with the DF taskbar, the icon changes to the stock Chrome icon. Even if I pin it to the DF taskbar, it pins it with the stock chrome icon, and not my profile icon.

As for the scripted stuff, I'll have a look. I'm sure I can figure that out.

Hey Guys!

Since updating to Chrome Version 40.0.2188.2 dev-m, when I move a chrome window over to second monitor, with a DF taskbar, the taskbar icon changes to the default chrome icon, yes I'm using a Chrome Profile with a custom icon.

I've attached a screen shot. See the red circle. On main monitor my Chrome Icon is correct, on second monitor with DF, it's showing the stock icon.

I'm pretty sure this worked properly before upgrading Chrome.

Thoughts?

P.S - Just thought of something. Any plans on supporting Chrome Profiles? What I mean is.. being able to set a default window location for one Chrome profile, and a different default window location for the second Chrome profile. Kinda like treating each profile instance as it's own program. At the moment, DF thinks that "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --profile-directory="Profile 2" is the same as "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --profile-directory="Default", when essentially, I'd like them to act separately. Know what I mean?
