I finally had some more time to test this out here and haven't had any luck reproducing the issue. However, I'm using a GTX 650 Ti, and I noticed you've got a GTX 1070. There was another Discussions topic with similar issues of the monitor IDs changing when switching between cloned and extended, and that customer was also using a GTX 1070, so I'm starting to wonder if it's an issue specific to the 1070.

Not sure if I can get my hands on a 1070 for testing, but if I do, I'll keep you posted on what I find out.
Hi Keith

In an attempt to improve the situation I changed the connections on my GPU. The error does not appear, but that could also be due to my receiver not being plugged out since the weekend.

Anyway, when I switch as you suggested the following happens:

"TV"

TV is display 1 , everything else is off, all is normal. You see the TV has the wallpaper of my 27" monitor though and not the one saying TV.

to "PC & TV"

The TV is the primary display, still display "1", the PC screens are mirrored. This is not how it was saved. TV and 22" (1&3) should be mirrored and the 27" (2) should be the primary display.

to "Default"

TV (1) is still the primary display with wallpaper for 27", 27" (2) is secondary with wallpaper for 22". It should be: TV off, 27" primary, 22" secondary.

Even if I set up the screens correctly again, Display fusion says that the relevant profiles are detected and I can't save them.

I hope you can do something with my explanation, I tried to keep it as clear as possible.

Hi

So I have the following setup:

1 = 27" 1080p via Displayport to HDMI
2 = 22" 1080p via Displayport to HDMI
3 = Receiver to 1080p TV via HDMI

I have the following three profiles I want to create

1 - Default

Monitors 1 & 2 are enabled, 3 is disabled.
1 is the primary display
sound is coming from my sound card to my pc speakers via normal audio connections

2 - PC & TV

All displays are enabled
1 is the primary display, 3 is cloned with 2
Sound is coming from GPU to my receiver via HDMI

3 - TV only

Only monitor 3 is enabled
Sound is coming from my GPU to my receiver via HDMI

I can set up these profiles but when I switch between them I get error messages and monitor 3 does not disable when switching to the default profile.

The error message when switching from "TV only" to "Default":

An error has occurred while applying your new Monitor configuration.
Please check your settings and try again.
