As a workaround, you could use something like Startup Delayer (http://www.r2.com.au/page/products/show/startup-delayer/) to control the order that the startup programs start in.

We've also got a feature request on our list for the ability to have DisplayFusion launch programs on startup, so that they are launched after DisplayFusion starts. I'll add your vote to it

this does function properly if i was just to start said app in the middle of a 'windows session'.. i think there is just some order to when which app is loaded at start and it doesnt get caught to apply the prefs on it.. ]]>
