Thanks for sending that over. It looks like the windows are completely ignoring the Windows taskbar in the work area. Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab of the DisplayFusion settings window, using the "Export Settings" button.

I set the debug level to minimal.
Cleared the debug log. (10:20 Am ish)
Applied the single "split" maximized spotify (worked as expected)
For good measure hit maximize again (to make it smaller) then maximize again.

I then went into Splits and Padding and created a Horizontal Split
Applied it and maximized spotify (it went under the task bar)
For good measure I did it again.

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue (if you can reproduce the issue with splits, as well as it working without the splits that would be great) and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

It is currently off. Maximizing windows feels likes its behaving as if its still on when maximizing in a split.
