You can update by enabling the "Check for new beta versions" option on the Settings > Options tab.

You can safely delete the crash dumps in that folder, and typically there shouldn't be any files there. If you continue to have issues with it crashing, definitely let us know in a new thread please :)

But I just bought DF a few days ago on Steam. It crashed the first time I tried it. I think because I set one of my monitors to use a video as the wallpaper. I reinstalled it, and remove that video wallpaper.

Today I noticed that I have 2.5gb of C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion\CrashDumps files for DisplayFusion.exe. All of them are from Sunday when I installed this.

From what I have read here I can delete these? Each of the 4 files is 500-600MB.
  • Why so big?
  • Is this memory leak fixed?
  • And do I need to keep an eye on this folder if I start running out of drive space? (that's what got me looking for space today)

I just noticed this huge dmp file(26.75GB) and can't remember what happened that might have caused this.

Any way to find out what happened?

Also, is there a "special" way to delete it or I can simply right click > delete without risk?
