Sorry for the late response! Glad to hear you were able to get it sorted. You're correct about the hooks likely not being fully loaded before the app starts up, so great idea on the workaround using Startup Delayer!
Thanks!

Keith,
Testing shows that 1 5 second delay will allow DF to be active and the Window Location is honored. I use Startup Delayer for setting the delay.
You can close this incident.

Keith,
I found a startup delay freeware that might be able to delay the startup of the offending application until DisplayFusion has its hooks set.
Do you have any comments about this method of resolving the startup problem?
Thanks,

Keith,

When an application is in the Startup folder, it ignores the Window Location settings. After stopping and restarting, it does follow the settings. Only forum posts I can find talk about a delay, suspect that is something that DisplayFusion controls. Suspect it is getting started before DisplayFusion has its hooks in place.

The application is "WeatherLink" followed by a version number which is subject to change. It does not want to start on the monitor where it last was on. It is located in a directory called WeatherLink that currently resides on a partition that is also subject to change. Would not want it to be "a piece of cake".

I also have "Palm Desktop" in the Startup folder (like its Calendar) and it works correctly but I believe it wants to restart on the last monitor it ran on.

Thanks,
