And yes, once the problem starts, the DF process continually fluctuates between roughly 7% - 15% CPU utilization, and never drops back down.

Been having problems with DF ever since updating to v4.0. CPU usage for DisplayFusion.exe frequently and seemingly randomly jumps to around 15% (presumably 100% of one of the cores on my hexacore CPU). Often, but not always, that corresponds with DF becoming extremely slow to respond to mouse clicks, and sometimes it becomes completely unresponsive and can only be fixed by killing the process and restarting DF.

I only use DF's multimonitor taskbar functionality. Titlebar buttons, screensaver, desktop wallpapers, etc. are all disabled.

I've searched the forums but the only similar reports I see are related to using other software (Bins, EA Origin, etc.), none of which I'm using.

The only other unusual thing I've done lately is to add another monitor to this system via a USB video adapter (EVGA UV+19)... I can't think of any reason why DF would have problems with that though...?

I can submit a troubleshooting log if needed, but I'd prefer to do it privately as this is a business system. I haven't tried the latest DF beta either for similar reasons -- it's a production development system and I use DF heavily so I'm hesitant to risk making things worse.
