I've seen the wrong-flash with ALT-TAB and clicking through, though clicking through is more likely to result in an eventual "correction" vs. ALT-TAB. This may not be relevant, but my screens are arranged such that the side monitors are "lower" than the center one (demanding monitor re-positioning in DF/Windows).

Also of note, when the Trillian icon fails to flash correctly, the edges disappear off its button as demonstrated in flat-button.png (first attachment) instead of looking normal (shown) and orange (not shown--normal-button.png).

The "wrong button flash" can be really weird. Just now as I was typing this, it flashed correctly, but then I switched through several windows on that monitor. That triggered the flat button shown. On the other topic. I have only noticed it with Trillian because, being an instant-messenger client, it generates many notifications. I will have to see about testing other applications. Any suggestions? Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything else that generates that many taskbar flashes.

• Enable debug logging on the Troubleshooting tab (set it to Logging: Important Only) and click Apply
• Restart DisplayFusion
• Reproduce the issue (please note the time so I'll know where to look in the log file)
• Attach the %appdata%\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusion.log file to this topic (can be found by clicking the 'Open Log' button on the Troubleshooting tab)
• Attach the %appdata%\DisplayFusion\DebugInfo.html file
• Attach a screenshot if possible, so we can get a visual of the icons on the taskbar
• Disable debug logging after attaching the log

2. Does a Start button still show up on the DisplayFusion taskbar? If so, could you try right-clicking the taskbar and navigating to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Start Button > Disabled?

Problem #1
On secondary taskbars, notifications flash on the wrong icon. Generally, it always flashes on the left-most application even if that isn't the one generating the notification.

Problem #2
Not sure if...(insert meme here)...DisplayFusion problem, Start8 problem, or combination problem. I've verified that "show start buttons on secondary taskbars" is OFF in Start8.

Yet, when I press the Windows key, start menus open on the secondary screen. Again, I am not entirely sure this is a DisplayFusion issue--but given that it is capable of display both buttons and menus on secondary screens (and Start8 is supposed to be behaving) I figured I'd ask here to see if DisplayFusion has anything to do with it. ]]>
