I as experience this once in a while. I cannot have tools slow down my productivity. DisplayFusion is a very important tool, so please see to it that this is not ignored by Dev.
I waited a long time, and eventually terminated the DisplayFusion.exe. This left behind the DisplayFusionService, and the DisplayFusionHookApp32 and 64. When I restarted the DisplayFusion.exe, it hung for a while, then I saw the two HookApp disappear, then reappear, and it was at that moment all the toolbars and operations came to life.
Thus, I think there might be something with the detection or relation of the two HookApp during the start process.
I will try the Autostart (vs Autostart Delay) to see if it helps.
The program has worked excellent for years and all of a sudden started to not start at boot up. Well , I will never stop to be surprised when it comes to computers.
Will test for a couple of days and see if it´s really solved.

Hello,

If you have DisplayFusion.exe set to run as administrator, Windows won't start it automatically on boot, so let's make sure that's unchecked.

Can you then restart your computer, and open up "Task Manager > Details" right away and see if DisplayFusion.exe shows up in the list briefly before disappearing?

Also of note, DisplayFusionService.exe and DisplayFusion.exe are two different services. We only need to focus on getting DisplayFusion.exe to start on boot.

Let me know how that works!

Everytime I restart my computer I have to struggle to get Display Fusion to start. I need to rightclick on my desktop and the progrma is visible in the menu and then I need to choose settings and hopefully the program starts.
It is clear that it is loaded in the system but it does not appear, Even if I try to run it as an admin it does not start, it takes me several tries and eventually it starts. This thing is making me nuts. I have had it for so many years and suddenly it starts to behave like this. I really hope some of you here can give me a hint on what is going on.
