I've tested that out here, and it looks like it does indeed just enable the hidden DreamScene capability in Windows 7. However, we wouldn't be able to make it work separately on each monitor, as we'd just be doing the same thing as this app does.

I will add your vote to an open feature request for video wallpapers, and if we're able to implement that in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know.

The functionality still exists in Windows 7, but it needs to be enabled by a third-party program. I've done that, but when I try to use it use it, it has to make the video play on both screens, eating up lots of memory, and most of the time halting the playback. So I need a way to set it differently for both monitors like DisplayFusion does with wallpapers already. Can this be reasonably done? ]]>
