If... I may once again (necro) chime in on this issue here. It basically does continue now and again, but I was thinking, in 'Monitor Configuration' one can manually re-arrange the monitors, in case they for example get scrambled and the mouse stops moving seamlessly accross them.

However, no such setting (from what I've searched) exists for the taskbar icons... Which I'd honestly be just about ready to pay $50 for to have implemented. For example in the menu 'Taskbar Shortcuts' — there could perhaps be a button with 'Swap taskbar icons with X monitor'... So that if the monitors get scrambled/jumbled again, I can re-arrange the monitors through 'Monitor Configuration' and then also re-arrange the taskbar icons back in place (inside of the 'Taskbar Shortcuts' menu, or some other one), which is honestly extremely valuable to me. Because after restarting (especially one that is unplanned), it takes an inopportunely long while to set everything back up again.

Sorry for not making this a bit more clearer... basically the 'screens':

• When for example everything is fine, I've got a distinct taskbar on/for each monitor, and the mouse moves seamlessly between the monitors.

• When things go wrong and e.g., a monitor doesn't wake up from sleep. It doesn't matter if I try put the PC to sleep and then wake it up again or restart DisplayFusion, after logging in. The only thing that helps at this point, is a restart.
To elaborate this, in such a scenario, the mouse no longer moves seamlessly, e.g. I move it to the right and it ends at the top of some monitor, a taskbar is swapped with another somewhere... the program I use for automatic window arrangement moves windows (programs basically) to wrong places; and it's 'one of those mornings again, I say to myself, before getting Ketracel-white (coffeé)

Perhaps sometime in the distant future, it'll be possible to re-arrange them in place somehow, through DisplayFusion...
Hello,

So it ended up happening again today, unfortunately. Seemingly with no user error present this time (hopefully anyway)…

It's almost as though the monitors sometimes, need a bit more time to wake up from sleep. Which they do eventually of course, but by that time, it's as though something malfunctions/crashes and basically the following pattern emerges:

• PC wakes up from sleep through a user trigger ➔
• Monitors take a bit longer than usual to 'wake up' ➔
• Something goes wrong, and the monitors duplicate ➔
• When one restarts DisplayFusion, the taskbars becomes scrambled, or I guess one can say the monitors themselves do...

It would be nice if one could somehow force them to recalibrate to their proper position again, or prevent this outright, somehow. But for now, only a restart seems to 'help'…

Now I did turn off some settings, as displayed on the image below, because I didn't really find them to be related to this issue, per se. Perhaps I'm wrong? I always only manually put the computer to sleep and wake it up; as in, there is no setting that makes the PC go to sleep after X amount of time

Kind regards,
David

Reporting back. Since implementing this fix, the issue hasn't reappeared!

However, a much smaller issue I'm having right now after sleep, is the displacement of a pinned taskbar icon (the green iris-esque icon), which I often use with a macro.

No other pinned taskbar icons (or non-pinned for that matter), seem to get displaced...

After sleep:

Speak of the devil, the duplicate issue did actually occur again today, after all this time... 😔

EDIT:
I've recently changed my monitor profile, and the aforementioned trigger got reset, so I'm gonna wait and see, and then finally report back again... pardon my lack of consideration

I have however solved this by moving the icon to the right place, after a restart, where it since has stayed, after several wakeups. I guess as long as some problematic program is shut down, the placement of the taskbar icon, does indeed save accordingly...
