To move the buttons for an application:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab, click Add
  • Select the application, or just wildcard its exe name in the Application box, like this: *brave.exe
  • Use the Titlebar Button Horizontal Offset values to move them. The values are in pixels, and negative values will move them to the left

No, it just ran. Even Chrome regular install may sometimes show this behavior when the "window" is not standard and hard to detect. Good point, I had not considered theme... but yes, I'm using Windows Classic theme. I didn't want to waste CPU cycles having Windows 7 draw pretty round curves around windows.
