Hi Hermann,
If you open up the Control Panel Hardware and Sound Choose what closing the lid does, you can set that to "Do Nothing", and the notebook should stay running as the primary monitor when the lid is closed.
Hope that helps!

Hello,
Couldn't find it, but is there a way to have the external monitor stay as the secondary output screen when notebook lid is closed?
It should switch the external to main screen.
Just need to have to monitor live energy diagrams and data.
Thanks for help!
Regards,
Hermann
