You can disable that in the Adobe Reader settings, but please note that it will decrease the security of Adobe Reader, so disable it at your own risk.

  • In Adobe Reader, click Edit > Preferences.
  • In the left pane, click the "Security (Enhanced)" section.
  • Disable the "Run in AppContainer" option.
  • Click OK.
  • Restart Adobe Reader.

Hello again, i will appreciate it if you can look into why Adobe acrobat reader does not work with maximising and resizing. I am currenly in the trial period and trying test all possible scenarios for my use.

Thanks for getting back to me. That works as described. However i noticed that the issue is with Adobe Acrobat reader. It does not seem to work with your app as the maximise button does not work at all.

So when you split a monitor (horizontal split) and you want to maximine any windows to the entire monitor, your software does not allow it. Is this required for the software to work this way or a feature? What is the benefit of this? Isn't there a way to just have standard splits like Windows has without it being like it's own monitor?
