Ok, great! So, on the Triggers tab, you can setup rules to position the applications. Here are the basic steps to do that:

Open the application and position it where you want it

On the Triggers tab, click Add, to create a new rule

Enable the checkbox for "Process path" in the Match Conditions box, and select the application

In the Actions pane, click the Add button, and choose "Move Window to Specified Size and Location"

Use the "target" icon to grab the size of the window

Click OK, then OK again to save the rule

Try launching the application, it should get automatically moved to the right spot

You could also automatically launch all of the appropriate applications using a Scripted Function. I've attached a sample script for launching Notepad and Calculator.

Hope that helps!

Just purchased display fusion and...

So I run a podcast and when I do I have about 7 different programs open and I'm trying to figure out how to have all the program windows return to the same location and size when I want to run that set up.

I saw old posts telling me to use the hotkey tab and whatnot but I don't see any of that available in Version 8 (or maybe it is just in a different location.

If this is possible could someone please explain it to me or show me where I can read instructions for it?

Thank you.
