It seem this even affects Alt + Tab. The proposed work around is equal of ditching DF all together...

This bug quiet annoying when playing a game in full screen and trying open desktop via Alt + Tab, if on primary monitor only the game is opened it's impossible minimize the game. (as a work around we have to hit Win key to open start menu, but in some games it still doesn't work, as the game overlaps the taskbar w/start menu) ]]>
