Here are the steps:

• Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
• Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
• Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)

However when I try to enable it and click apply, nothing happens. the screens are not changed at all. I've rebooted since applying the setting and have tried with multiple monitors over several connection interfaces (hdmi, dvi, dvi-usb, and the local laptop display. All of them result in no effect. If i open the monitor config page the split screen settings persist through reboot but no effect can be seen on the desktop. ]]>
