New Internet Explorer windows aren't considered child windows, which is why they're not getting processed by that option. Is this application the only thing that you use Internet Explorer for? If so, you can create a Window Location rule on the Settings > Window Location tab for Internet Explorer, and have it force all Internet Explorer windows to the second monitor.

Hello,

Purchased DisplayFusion hoping to eliminate a problem with multiple windows. One internal, web based application I use does not behave nicely when it is moved to another display. It insists on opening new windows only on the primary display. We call it MyWorkShop, it is a customized version of MatrixOne from Dessault Systèmes. It is an older system, so we have to use IE8 to have full access to it.

I have enabled "Center child windows over the parent window" in the Window Management settings and tried both of the options beneath that enabled and disabled. MyWorkShop still opens any new windows on the primary display.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Rod Everett
