Hi Jon,
Nothing I do with the wallpaper settings has an effect. I tried turning off the "random change" option, with no joy. Then I turned off the "check for updates" option, as I wondered if it was trying to do that, before the network had been fully established... still nothing.

However, if I turn off the "start with windows" option, the delay goes away. We're talking a 10 second (ish) delay, so it's not just a brief pause. So it could be the initialisation that is being delayed by other things going on perhaps.

I'll just let it lapse back to the free version (or do I have to uninstall and reinstall?) and just run it when I grow tired of the current wallpaper. I guess it's answered the "pro or no" question for me though.

Cheers
It's possible that because I have it set to change wallpaper, it is trying to seek new pictures whilst going through the disk access of booting up... maybe the combination is causing problems, not sure. I suspect that if I turn off the random changing, it will solve the problem as the picture will already be in the right place from the last boot up, therefore requiring no extra disk access.

Maybe I just need to go back to the free version and lose the changing pictures.

I didn't there would be, I just thought it would be nice to have a version that doesn't have all the hotkey & window stuff that I turn off. I'm guessing simple dual screen wallpaper with changing pictures would be quite popular. I might have to start digging through the windows API and write one... if I get time.

As it is, I seem to be having slow boot problems since setting DF to start at boot up (Windows 7 64-bit), so it might have to go anyway.
Hi,
Version Request:
I am currently using the 30 day trial key to try out the wallpaper changing in the Pro version. The only thing I would buy the Pro version for is random wallpaper changing, so is there any chance of something like a Pro-Lite version? This would be basically the free version with wallpaper changing for a price somewhere in between free and pro price? I don't like extra taskbars, window snapping, window buttons etc... but I am used to Windows 7 and the randomly changing wallpaper... just seems a bit daft for me to pay for all those features and then to turn them all off... although the trial period may convince me to pay for it anyway.

Feature Suggestion:
We have "Randomly change wallpaper", could we have a "Sequentially change wallpaper" option. Or is there code to stop a wallpaper reappearing, before the folder contents have been used at least once each?

Oh, one final question. How does the Pro licence work on a dual-boot system. I flick between Windows 7 and XP Home depending on what I am doing, would I need to buy two pro licences, even though it is only one computer?

Thank
