And yes Owen, you were right. Running the .reg file into the registry editor, though uncomfortable, worked.

Loading the same .reg file via Display Fusion's Setting, which would seem the logical thing to do, screen didn't. Also, As mentioned in my original email, I see what appears to be references to a specific user in the .reg file. If applying this to another machine, will this work?

I (only) used the DisplayFusion Settings "Restore Settings" button.
When doing so, nothing (obvious) was reported as being a problem.

When I click "Restore Settings" and select a .reg file, I get a "trust" warning then I get a windows UAC confirmation dialog (that does say Registry File) and, after acknowledging that, all ends seemingly without error.

When I log in as user "Bravo" and restore from that file, I get nothing.

Note: I do see what appears to be references to a specific user in the .reg file and am wondering if this is preventing me from doing what I'd like:
