I don't much like the new monochrome GUI icons added in 9.7.1, coming from 9.7.0. I know it is a popular things these days but the lack of color makes them all samey, though part of the issue is some of the new icons don't really make sense.

The window position profiles icon, for instance, is a triangle/circle/square, which would more appropriately be represented as a rectangle subdivided into smaller rectangles, perhaps?

@LimeyRat: It was a good guess. The DF settings are stored in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry hive. If you run the installer with a different user, the first launch will be under that user which will have its own settings. Usually I recommend exiting and restarting DF after updating if you have to run the installer as a different user

I managed to solve it by setting a padding value in Monitor Configuration, applying it and then resetting it to Defaults.

I just updated to this from 9.7.0 and it changed my settings back to a much earlier version:
Re-enabled Triggers
Reset Default Tray Icon Behaviour
Removed Window Position Profiles

Nothing major, took me 5 minutes to redo, but not what I'd expect from a minor release installation.

Unfortunately doesn't appear to help with the CPU utilisation issues that so many are reporting. I've added myself to the list of people with CPU running constant 30-70% which really isn't sustainable.
