Maybe I've got them wrong. Here's what I did on my machine:

• Opened XYPlorer
• Moved it to the second monitor and minimized it
• Hovered over it, preview image shows up correctly
• Clicked the close button on the preview image, it closed correctly

As well, as I mentioned, when I hover over the preview window for XY, which as you mentioned doesn't show, the Windows10 start icon on the second monitor flashes, literally flashes; odd.
