Instead of each tab having an exclusions list (snapping, titlebar buttons... etc) I would have an "Compatibility" tab. On this tab you can add applications to the list and set compatibility settings for each one like:
- Don't add titlebar buttons
- Don't snap windows
- Treat as a game (which will force it unload hooks and pause wallpaper changes)

etc... However, this will have to wait until at least version 3.2 as it will require a big internal change to support. Jsut wanted to throw a link out to an old topic, Jon seems to have left it after marking it complete lol.. I still think this is doable just fine, and can help with other games that run windowed, and yes I know its totally irrelevant, was just on my mind.

I can see the extra trouble selecting a replacement would be, that's why I would also suggest just blacking it out as an option. :-) No UI, just a "kill" button (I would also code in there to freeze the wallpaper cycling)

This little addition would be very handy. Also @ benway, at current I just use ctrl flag R. Works jsut as well, till you hit a few bad ones in a row.

It would be nice to have a predefined macro that you could assign to a titlebar button that would either blank your (in some cases racy) wallpaper or swap it with a predefined one with a single click. In some cases, I'll be sitting in my office and a client will come in and want a demo of something we're working on and I sort of have to cover up that swimsuit model (and in many cases some bizzar one that showed up from flickr.com) :-o. ]]>
