So I ended up going full "nuke from orbit", uninstalled, cleaned, and reinstalled without importing any of my settings. I then configured everything as I recalled I had and included the recommended fixes. Definitely happening with another application as well, and if I keep taskbars enabled while the application is borderless, the main Windows taskbar ends up jumping from time to time like I mentioned. Current fix for me is to make sure taskbars are disabled when the application is running which isn't the greatest since my main purpose was to have certain functions on certain bars when some games are running. Attaching latest debug.

Oh interesting, would you mind highlighting the snippet where you're seeing that info? Taskbar 1.2 should be my main Windows one, and that definitely doesn't have that application pinned so I'm curious regarding my configuration.

Attaching my taskbar (running solo at the moment) picture as well

I've also had some weird behavior lately where the taskbar will move automatically even though it's locked, I'm wondering if this is all related.

Quote:
For the taskbar buttons, are you referring to the buttons for the borderless game windows?

So for example, I have taskbar 1.1, 1.2(windows), 1.3. If I open an application and tab out of it like for example FFXIV, the app icon in the taskbar will show on 1.1 and 1.2. I checked to make sure it's not like a pin or something that's stuck, and it's only doing it for that application and it's the only application I placed in as a rule you suggested.
This fixed borderless!!! Not only that, but it also maximizes windows properly, assuming having to do with snaps activating tabbed out.

The game I'm currently focusing on I do want in borderless, so this is quite awesome and definitely solves that problem, good to know how to change this for any other application if needed. I'm curious though if you expected the full screen related to be disabled or enabled, so I'm definitely interested in learning more.

EDIT: Quick followup; since the change, the left taskbar is showing "relevant" windows from the main (middle) task bar which was not the behavior previously. Assuming this has to do with hooks? Any way to avoid?

The process essentially will refuse to be fullscreened, it's almost as if it thinks that I'm tabbed out; if you attempt to alt-tab into it or click it, it'll try catching focus then immediately tab back out. If I only disable taskbars it seems to work slightly better but it'll only allow fullscreen. Borderless won't work as splits force 3 monitors instead of one surround no matter what I change. As of right now if I want to play anything borderless in surround I have to disable DF.

Apologies for necro bumping, however this is actually related to an issue I'm currently having, and that is DF not prompting or asking at all to disable nVidia helpers. So I'm running 3 monitors in an nvidia surround setup, and I have the "auto-split eyefinity and nvidia surround monitors" option checked. I have the taskbar set to single monitor, so it only shows up on the center monitor.

At least, that's what it's supposed to be set up as.

Sometimes when toggling windows to maximize or minimize, or when putting focus on a new window, the taskbar stretches across all three monitors as though they are one monitor. Other times, a window that I have stretched across all three monitors (though not actually "maximized") decides to shrink to fit inside only the far left one.

The taskbar fixes itself within a few seconds, with some screen stuttering and glitching. This is annoying.
The window resizing itself to fit inside one monitor requires manually resizing the window. This is maddening.

What is going on?
