I am opening Explorer windows with Win+E and I don't think I have done anything peculiar to Explorer, but I may have changed some setting. Compared to another Win7 install (that is definitely vanilla), it appears this varies based on having icons combined.

When icons are combined the taskbar displays a single icon for all Explorer Windows. When icons are not combined the taskbar displays a different icon based on the current folder for each window. Even the pinned Explorer icon changes based on the folder icon of the first Explorer window. Since DF doesn't (yet?) combine icons, it's behavior is correct.

Win7 Pro x64 2xmonitors

On the Win7 taskbar, the Explorer window always uses the same folder based icon (I do not have it pinned). On the DF taskbar, the icon for explorer changes based on the folder selected (in real time). While that is neat, I think I would prefer the Win7 behavior, at least as an option, and also to make future stacking behave correctly?
