If you are interested in UX feedback on that, I find top-side and bottom-side quite confusing. It sounds like putting the window in the bottom-left / top-right, etc. corners. May I suggest:

Snap to top of monitor
Snap to bottom of monitor

You'll need to assign different key combinations to those functions.
