I installed DF v7beta10 on 27th or 28th, today the 2nd, I had my first experience with DF sucking all the life cycles out of my CPU. It happened when I launched Winamp. I aborted DF, restarted it, now Winamp plays fine, so probably just a coincidence.

The Login section on the Settings page was trying to login to my account, and taking lots of CPU (it was fighting with the main DF process for 100%). Clicking the Check for Update button didn't do anything extra.

I realized the issue -- after reinstalling earlier this week (to try and fix the CPU issue), I hadn't set DisplayFusion to run as Administrator. This was somehow responsible for the inability to update.

It's all good now, though.

All of the other direct links I'm seeing are telling me that should be installing the version from Steam. Any chance of getting a link for Steam (if it exists)?
