Plug the one you want to be your main monitor into the GPU and restarting Windows. Check to see if its labelled No1 then plug your secondary screen in.

As long as it's set as Primary, and in the right position to match the monitor layout on your actual desk, you should be good to go. Somehow, I got it working, but, as you can see in the attachment, my left-hand screen is still no. 2. (The second monitor is also a Dell 24") DisplayFusion shows the two monitors and has a wallpaper picture on each. But I can't change Monitor 1 to monitor 2 ... it keeps reverting. So the only way to get my mouse from the right-hand monitor to the left is to move the mouse to the right of the right-hand screen. ]]>
