Unfortunately this looks like a limitation I may not be able to work around. The system hooks that DisplayFusion uses don't seem to be able to hook a process that is running under a different user account. As a result, the window isn't updated immediately (because of the hook) but instead has to rely on the frequent polling to update the position. At least the buttons do eventually fall into place (~1 second delay).

Both hooks are enabled but I have new information. I log into my PC with a standard non-domain admin account. When I need to perform tasks that require domain admin rights I use RunAs to launch the needed application. The button on windows launched under my normal account move with the dragged windows pretty well. There is a small delay but it is very small.

The problem happens for any application launched using RunAs. I logged on to my PC with my admin account, launched DisplayFusion and verified that both hooks are enabled; however, DisplayFusion is not set to start for this user and the license key is not shown for this user either.

Should the license be associated to the computer or the user?
