You'd need to be able to install the DisplayLink software on the work laptop in order to use that adapter.

My home monitor does not have any vga or hdmi connection just usb so I bought an adaptor usb to hdmi I ran the software on my home computer not sure if I was supposed to ran on my work laptop but my work laptop does have high security so I cannot just run software on it. So I tried adding this adapter and I don't see my laptop screen showing on my main home monitor does anyone have any ideas of what I could do or if I am doing something wrong. Would appreciate the help. ]]>
