Can confirm that adding the Display Fusion Program Files folder / *.exe to the excluded list for the active virus control scanner in BitDefender appears to fix the memory leak problem.

After almost 30 hours up time, the DisplayFusion.exe process is still only using <100MB of memory, similar to my long term historical observations.

Thanks guys! One thing I've noticed between you two and this fellow (http://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/excessive-memory-usage/?ID=1fd16e02-3db2-4e3f-a36d-48d5e30ad6f2) is that you're all using BitDefender. I'll grab a trial of BitDefender and see if I can reproduce these issues here.

I am having the same issue, every day or so I have to either reboot my computer or kill the DisplayFusion task and restart it manually. Currently, after about 18 hours of uptime it is at 333MB. I have seen it climb as high as 1.6GB.

Thanks! I don't see anything obvious, but I had another customer report similar memory usage, and I've asked him for his info as well. As soon as I receive it, I'll compare the two and see if there's something similar on your systems that might point us in the right direction. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have more news!

If you could attach the DebugInfo.html file (can be found by clicking "Open Log" on Settings > Troubleshooting), that would be great! We'll check it to see if something might be hooking DisplayFusion, and we'll go from there

High memory usage

Hello, I am having a problem with the memory usage of DisplayFusion. At the time of writing it is using 667 MB of memory and rising according to the task manager and I have seen it go up to 1 GB of memory before in these past few weeks. I doubt either of these values are normal so I would like to ask for assistance in fixing this issue.

It does seem somewhat erratic. Some times, with only a day and a half of computer uptime DisplayFusion would be using 1 GB of memory but sometimes it would only be at about 150 MB.

If I need to post something to help with the diagnostics just let me know.
