There isn't currently an official way to add space between the Start button and pinned items, but if you pin a non-existent item, (e.g. just create a shortcut for c:\doesntexist.exe) it will just add a blank button. You can then move that to the left.<br/>

Regarding the clock font, it's actually really tricky to try and match the Windows clock. We spent a lot of time on it, but this is about as close as it will get.<br/>
