Do you ever get those Duh! moments? I'd turned on the checkbox to allow DFS to control the screensaver as the Windows screensaver didn't seem to want to turn off once I'd installed DFS. I rebooted the laptop then unchecked allow DFS to control the screensaver, and turned off the Windows screensaver control as well, which worked this time. DaDa! No blanking screens!

Problem now solved and I am very happy that everything works as I'd hoped it would.

Many thanks.
At the moment I can't answer that question as I don't know when they turn off. I left them on when I went to bed, but when I got up 5 hours later they were in sleep mode. When I left for work this morning I left a webcam streaming thinking that activity might keep them awake, but they were in sleep mode on my return although the web stream and the separate chat list for the webcam were both still running (on split screens on one monitor), and the monitor just came back to life as soon as I hit the space bar. I have the screen saver timer on 9999, which was the largest amount I could enter, even though it says none. Do you think putting 0 as the time out might help? I've seen this as the default for no action on other software.

It's not a deal breaking problem, just a minor annoyance. Problem is that this set up is in my home office and I'm only in here when I'm using it, so it's difficult to actually sit here and wait for the screens to go off and time them. I'll try to find something else to do without using the computer over the bank holiday weekend to see if I can get a better idea when they go off. I'll close Display Fusion overnight to see if they are still on in the morning.

Thank you for your purchase! This is definitely strange. Couple of follow-up questions:
How long does the machine sit idle before the monitors enter sleep mode?
If you exit DisplayFusion, do they still sleep after that idle time?

Hi, I only trialled Display Fusion last week, and two days later paid up for the Pro version as I was so impressed with it, especially having trialled a similar software and not got on with it.

I have 3 external monitors on my laptop, varying sizes/resolutions. Two are running through a dock with DVI and HDMI ports and the 3rd running through a USB graphics adapter. The set up works well and I mainly use them for live streaming web cams. I have now got DSF set up exactly as I want it, and as I hoped it would work.

However, I do have one issue that I can't solve. I don't use screen savers and I prefer to keep my monitors awake with a changing desktop background. Since I installed DSF, all my monitors now go to sleep when not being used, just leaving a black screen. I have screensavers set to none in both Windows and DSF, and I have checked all my power settings to ensure that they all have display shutdown never. I can't find any settings which I can adjust to change this behaviour. If you can shed any light on this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks, Prisca
