DisplayFusion actually does have this

On the Settings > Functions tab, just set a key combination for the "Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor to Current Monitor" Function. Then when you press the key combination, the mouse will be constrained to the monitor, and when you press it again, it will be allowed to leave the monitor.

Hope that helps!

Hello,

First off, DF is great. It does all it claims to do and does it good.

Recently I became annoyed from the mouse disappearing from the screen when you accidentally move it to the edge of the screen where another monitor is aligned. I searched for an option to set a modifier key to allow/deny the mouse to leave the active screen, but there is no such option.

The standard desktop manager of the Ubuntu operating system has a similar feature. When multiple desktop are enabled, when you touch the edge of the desktop with your mouse while pressing a hotkey combination, the current desktop switches to the adjacent desktop etc.

So, my suggestion for a new feature is to be able to configure a modifier key to allow/deny the mouse to leave the active screen.

Thanks in advance,
Wouter.
