We're not currently able to hook the Windows Aero Snapping feature to make it see the splits, but you can assign key combinations to the "Size and Move Window to Left/Right Side" functions on the Settings tab. Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right works pretty well for these, and they will respect the splits.

Regarding the Splits and Padding config, thanks for the feedback on that. We will investigate that and see if we can improve it as well.

Thanks!

I'm trying to get splitting working the way I want it to, I'm not sure if that's possible. I've created a split and if I maximize a window inside of it (using maximize button or snapping to the top of screen), it respects the split. But if I snap it to the side it doesn't respect the split at all. The same issue arises with padding as well. Is this as intended, or do I have an issue?

What I'm trying to do is have 2 windows snap side by side inside of a split, alternatively I'd be happy if I could just get them to snap side by side but respect the padding. The only solution I see is making multiple splits for each window I'd like, but that's not convenient because often the windows need to be different sizes or different number of windows.

Thank you.

Also setting up splits/padding seems really difficult. If I set a number to a split, then set the next split (paying attention to where it starts of course) sometimes it just creates a weird split and keeps resetting numbers such as start position if I change the split width, or split width if I change the start position. I've tried using the auto split function but it is even worse. If I may suggest it would be much easier if we could just grab and pull with the mouse to define splits/padding.
